Hey girly! I'm Catarina a NJ wedding and portrait photographer based in Central, NJ. (Yes, central is a real thing) My roots began in Kearny, NJ where my family immigrated from Portugal. I was only 10 when we moved to the Shore area, Aberdeen, NJ and I've now lived here for 18 years, and now raising my daughters in the same town.
I started my photography business 6 years ago, after having my first daughter I decided to leave my 9-5 job and pursue my passion. I've enjoyed photographing so many milestones for families and getting to meet so many couples along the way. I'm always looking for a new projects. Last year, I shot my first boudoir session and instantly found my new genre of photography. These sessions are so much fun!!! I love how different each session can be and honestly at the end of the session you will feel like it is such a gift for yourself when you see how amazing you look.

Once your session is officially booked we can begin planning. You'll receive a helpful email guide to lingerie links, accessories, and a Pinterest board for inspiration. I'll also have you create your own Pinterest board so I can exactly what style your wanting for your session.

I will handle everything for you! Including hair and makeup! I have my own glam team I use specifically for my boudoir sessions. My team will make you look and feel beautiful. You also have the option of using your own glam team that you booked for your wedding.

Once the glam team is finished we'll wait for them to exit the studio before starting. You are more than welcomed to having a friend present with you. Once your session starts we'll have some music playing to create a fun and comfortable atmosphere. After each pose I'll show you the images behind my camera so you can see how amazing you look. I always find that helps get you comfortable and makes for an enjoyable experience.

After your session you'll have the option of hanging out at the studio for an hour while I edit your images. Afterwards, we can select your images to use for the album design. If time isn't available you'll receive your images the next day via online gallery. You'll be able to select your images and we can create the album design over zoom.

All sessions include a pre-session consultation by phone or zoom to go over the mood board and styling tips. The studio location is in Neptune, NJ.
*50% retainer due upon booking, remaining balance due 1 month before session

The sooner the better! I schedule boudoir sessions a year out. If you're planning on surprising someone with an album I recommend having your session 4-6 months before hand.
To reserve your date, I"ll need a signed contract as well as a 50% non-refundable deposit.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?
Your images will never be shared. In fact, your gallery is set to a private mode which means no on but you will have access to them and the gallery will expire after 4 weeks. (or sooner if you'd like)
The images you see on my portfolio are either model calls or clients of mine who signed a model release with me allowing me to use them.
What if I don't want my photos shown?

How long is the session?
Yes! This is such a fun experience and I will work with you budget.
Do you offer payment plans?
I recommend having 3-4 outfits! Upon booking you'll receive links to lingerie websites. I highly recommend ordering a bunch of different styles and trying them on making sure you love them.
